Is Your Personal Injury Attorney Getting You a Fair and Just Settlement?
You may think that lawyers in general are an ungrateful lot. You may be right. Many lawyers represent corporations that are awful companies and that have policies that hurt people deeply. Generally speaking, I do not find dealing with insurance companies or dealing with their lawyers to be very satisfying. Now, suing for their money to help my injured workers clients and my automobile accident injured clients is a true pleasure when they finally pay what my clients deserves.
Then why do I see so many lawyers who ompensation claims or automobile accident victims, who are so sad, misdirected, unhappy, disinterested in pouring over a client’s case to try and get a fair and just settlement?
Maybe it is because they have not read or do not remember what Apostle Paul said about gratitude in the fourth Chapter of Philippians, The New Testament:
“Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things.” Philippians 4:8
Paul advises us to “practice these things; and the God of peace shall be with you.”
You see, when we, lawyers, all of us, spend time thinking of these things, our attitude, our view of everything changes for the better.
I think it boils down to who is in control of our lives. So, the question for all of us is: Is Jesus in control of our lives? I hope so.
